The main event of the night will feature a blood rushing rematch between Ryan “The Dentist” Urquizu and Trench Tech’s Giovanni “Palakse” Sablan at 150 lbs.
Sablan emerged the victor in his first encounter again Urquizu, during Guam’s Preba Hao 10 2007. Urquizu was caught off guard by Sablan in the third round, causing him to lose via technical knock out. Sablan boasts with a record of 17 wins and 5 losses while Urquizu has 14 wins and 4 losses.
The night will also include a Super Fight between USA and Japan, where USA’s JJ Ambrose will take on Japan’s Masakazu Taguchi at 160 lbs. Ambrose recently took part in the preliminaries of The Ultimate Fighter’s 12th season.
10 other fights are still being set up and will be available soon.
Trench Tech is also seeking an opponent for first time MMA fighter Niana Dela Cruz, who is currently 18 years old and 135 lbs. Interested female fighters must be 18 years of age or older, and it is preferable that she matches Dela Cruz’ credentials. Anyone interested may contact Cuki Alvarez at 483-4662.
