While we all have our demons, the demons that visit the homosexual/lesbian person are the ones who primarily fancy children. So it does not really matter if these folks are priests or not as they would be preying on kids if they were not priests.
Of course some will say that there are cases of more child abuse involving the heterosexual community. There are more heterosexuals than homosexuals so naturally there would be more abuses in the mainstream population. Case in point: the late Michael Jackson wanted to look like a woman and sleep with kids. But the public persona is a contrived image of one who cared and fought for kids.
At the national level, the Obama administration has come under fire since it wants to revoke “don’t ask, don’t tell,” which I think is a good idea. But it should be pointed out that at the same time, the Justice Department under the Obama administration desires to strengthen the “Defense of Marriage Act” and has linked homosexuality to pedophilia in their court arguments. Something even the far right Bush White House did not do.
