Rangamar said 14 of the 22 participants, male and female have consistently attended all the four sessions for the Level O which will end on Sunday.
Those who completed the session, he said will be receiving certification and will move to the next level.
Most of those who have been attending the clinics are from Hopwood Junior High School, and the coaches of the ongoing leagues.
Initially scheduled earlier this month, the coaching clinic is part the NMI-wide basketball lessons that BANMI is launching in full blast this year.
This, Rangamar said will enhance the skills of those involved in the ongoing leagues especially the coaches and players who are interested in leading a team in the future.
Rangamar and Referee Association president, Gabriel White are working together to reach their goal of upgrading the skills and knowledge of those in the NMI’s basketball community.
Rangamar said that with these workshops, he is expecting to see big changes on how the teams in the Saipan Rotary Club Youth Basketball League are being handled.
While the lessons continue, Rangamar hopes that coaches and players will learn more as they prepare for the Budweiser Basketball League that will open by the end of November.
