U.S. District Court for the NMI Designated Presiding Judge David A. Wiseman approved Cabrera’s release to his mother and two other relatives after the hearing on the motion to modify bail yesterday.

Apart from the standard release conditions, Wiseman directed Cabrera to surrender his passport and told the defendant not leave Saipan without written permission from the court.
Cabrera was arrested on Guam last Oct. 7 and was sent to Saipan.
Cabrera’s co-defendants Jawn Joyner and Sharee Maratita a.k.a. Sharee Demapan Diaz were also arrested last Oct. 7.
