Jeremy Alfonso was charged with grand larceny and malicious mischief on December 28 for breaking the padlock of a rebar cage and stole generator own by IA Business Center.
Alfonso was summoned to appear in court on January 12 to face his new charges.
Alfonso was wanted for Cr-196 and Cr-198 for failing to appear in court for his supposed arraignment which was scheduled on December 30.
Alfonso is already facing burglary, grand larceny and malicious mischief for Cr 198 for burglarizing the Maml Dive shop and stole gas tanks while he was charged with burglary, grand larceny, cheating and forgery in Cr 196 for burglarizing Day Dream Dive shop and stole a tourist’s bag containing several credit cards and cash.
In the new criminal case Cr 211, Alfonso was charged along with Amos Mitsuo who is also facing one count of grand larceny.
The police affidavit filed in court stated that Alfonso and Mitsuo on November 10 went to the IA Business Center in Madelaii and stole the generator which was placed inside a rebar cage.
The affidavit stated that Alfonso used a crowbar to break the padlock of the cage and took the generator and put it inside his car.
The defendants’ identities were revealed to the police when they received information that Mitsuo tried to sell the stolen generator to a certain Jacky Okada.
Okada admitted to the police that Mitsuo tried to sell to him the generator.
The affidavit stated that the generator is worth $949.50.
