The primary rule was: in order for a team to win they must win 4 games out of 7. In the 8-ball doubles’ category, for both rounds, 10/10’s Bud Brothers were no match for Docomo Hustlers. In the 8-ball single’s category, Hustler’s team players Erwin and Jerry took the match home winning both rounds.
USSP’s Fotten Palau takes it all home.
USSP’s Fotten Palau won over USSP’s Whatever in last Tuesday’s open 8-ball tournament at the USSP club. The crowd was watching intensely at the players since both teams were sponsored by the same club.
In the first round of the 8-ball doubles, Fotten Palau’s Rick Rengiil and Taylor Watanabe beats team Whatever’s Norman Tenorio and Larry Brianes in both rounds 1 and 2. Team whatever tried to put up a fight and in the same category games 5 and 6 team Whatever’s Ken Phillip and teammate beat Fotten Palau’s Ben Chisato and John Mongami.
But in the 8-ball singles in both rounds Rick Rengiil and Ben Chisato beat team Whatever’s Ken Phillip and Rose Phillip bringing the win back home to USSP’s Fotten Palau as the crowd went wild.
