The health fair was open from 12 noon to 5 in the afternoon.
The event was among six health fair projects being hosted by the community health centers to promote local food and increase awareness on alcohol and drug abuse throughout the state.
The church group invited guest speakers who gave speeches on alcohol and drug problems in the community and suggested ways on how to solve those problems.
The group displayed local dishes and demonstrated how they are prepared. The group also performed skits on the theme of the health fair — the negative effects of alcohol and drugs.
The church choir provided live music and other entertainment activities throughout the afternoon.
