The five-hour event involved at least 15 clinic staff members, representatives from the Hardt Eye Clinic and church volunteers including Dr. Mike Stafford and Lori Serna.
“Hopefully we can continue helping the community,” Pierson said.
Local residents and guest workers availed of the free blood and sugar examination, dental screening and eye check-up, he added.
Some patients were referred to the clinic for further treatment, he said.
It was the first time this year that they conducted a health expo in Kagman, Pierson said.
In the previous free health screening, they also had a good turnout of patients from Kagman, he added.
The clinic is considering holding the health expo on a regular basis.
