THE Pacific Islands Club Saipan 2025 Tennis Championships’ first weekend was a success. For the first time since Covid-19, the PIC Tennis Championships are back!
Singles Junior Boys 14-and-Under champion Daniel Kang defeated his opponent, Matt Zhu, while the Singles Junior Girls 14-and-Under champion is Vivian Chung with Jenna Pascual as runner up.
The Singles Junior Boys 12-and-Under champion is Isaiah Mook, who won his match on Sunday against Dong Min Jang.
The Singles Junior Girls 12-and-Under champion Fiona Yu while the runner up is Aileen Kim.
The Singles Woman’s Masters Division was ruled by Seungmi Yang with Lydia Tan as the runner up.
In the Singles Men’s Masters Division, Paul Jang defeated Jeff Race while the Doubles Mixed Open was won by Siwoo Lee and Irin Chung going who went up against the powerhouse duo of Jyle Landicho and Anne Lee.
The week-two games will be held on May 23, 24 and 25 for the Singles Men’s Open and 3.0, the Singles Woman’s Open and 3.0, the Doubles Junior Boys 16-and-Under, the Doubles Junior Boys 14-and-Under, the Doubles Junior Girls 16-and-Under and the Doubles Junior Girls 12-and-Under.
