Both power interruptions are scheduled to commence at 7:30 a.m. Kiya-2 will be re-energized at 8:30 a.m. and Kiya-1 will be re-energized at 9:30 a.m.
The interruption on Kiya-1 will allow the line crew to perform vegetation clearing on Tun Herman Pan Road.
The interruption on Kiya-2 will allow the line crew to perform general maintenance by replacing deteriorated pole hardware on three double circuit primary power poles on Chalan Monsignor Guerrero Road.
The interruptions are necessary to ensure safety for the CUC line crew as they perform maintenance on the electrical grid.
Affected Areas: 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Kiya-1 (First Partial): As Terlaje, Fina Sisu, Kanat Tabla, Airport Road
Affected Areas: 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Kiya-2: (Entire Feeder) As Lito, Koblerville, Afetnas, San Antonio, As Gonno and Katmelo.
CUC apologizes for any inconvenience these scheduled power interruptions may impose on the community and its customers. CUC is currently training its power crew to eventually work on live wire to minimize future power interruptions.
