Fielders conquer Masters, 14-8 in Major League

The Fielders dominated 14-8, scoring four early runs at the top of the second inning. Right fielder Shane Mendiola scored two RBI singles, driving Cadez Tenorio and John Reyes home. Ryan Ada and Marvin Ngeskebei slipped to home plate on errors.

The Fielders widened the gap at the top of the fifth, landing three runs from Mendiola, third baseman Juan Maratita, and Tony Tenorio.

The Masters, making no progress in the first four innings, recovered with one run at the bottom of the fifth and six more at the sixth. Both H. Reyes Reno Celis delivered run-scoring singles to boost the team, followed by Justin Reyes’ two-run triple. Reyes returned home on a wild pitch by Elton Santos.

The Fielders, scoring no runs at the eighth, tallied five more at the ninth. Mendiola went 2-for-6 with one run and a base on ball. Maratita went 3-for-6 with two runs and a stolen base. Tony Tenorio, Ada, Ngeskebei, and Reyes scored two runs apiece. Eli Aughenbaugh got away with one run, a triple, one single, and one base on ball.
