Youth Summit at Chacha

Students from Kagman High School, Hopwood Junior High School and Saipan Southern high School attended the summit.

Keynote speaker Craig Garrison, Marianas High School principal, told the students that “no matter what obstacles you may have to go through, always pursue a higher education and your dreams.”

The summit featured activities that promoted anti-bullying, academic achievement, high school/college preparation, healthy relationships, parental involvement, leadership skills, and stress/time management.

There were also fun activities that taught why teamwork and communication are important.

Students Joey Borja, Crystal Santos and Debra Buekis said the summit was fun, exciting and informative. They said they were thankful to their principals and teachers for  helping them have a better future.
