Hofschneider said SHEFA has submitted to the Department of Finance its first funding request of $182,000.

This is part of the $778,900 needed for SHEFA scholars this spring.

For the fall semester, Finance had yet to release $540,000 for the incentives of SHEFA’s recipients, Hofschneider said.
