Registration portal now open for Rota Marathon 2026

(PR) – The online registration portal of the Rota Marathon 2026 is now open. The online portal is https://mva.mymarianas.com/rota-marathon-registration/.

The Rota Marathaon 2026 is set for January 31, 2026.

The online registration is designed for registrants to sign up easily. The marathon is will also allow participants to experience the unique charms of Rota, including ancient Chamorro latte stone monoliths, possible encounters with endangered species like the Marianas Crow, and pristine natural settings.

The event is co-organized by the Marianas Visitors Authority (MVA) and the Office of the Mayor of Rota. Early bird registration rates through Dec. 31, 2025, are $25 for the full marathon, $20 for the half marathon, and $15 for the 5K. Rates increase on Jan. 1, 2026.

“We are happy to announce the full automation of registration for Rota Marathon 2026 via our online portal, making it seamless for registrants now,” said MVA Community Projects Manager Martin Duenas. “Mark your calendars and sign up today for a wonderful weekend in January enjoying the fresh air, tranquility, and friendly community of Luta!”

Participants will enjoy an outdoor awards dinner buffet at Rota Roundhouse on race day, an official Rota Marathon 2026 shirt, and a printed finisher’s certificate. Mandatory race packet pick-up is Jan. 30, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Rota Roundhouse, with a race briefing at 6 p.m. Representatives may pick up packets for other registrants with written authorization and a valid photo ID copy.

Cash prizes await Top Overall Finishers (1st–3rd) in Male and Female Divisions for the full marathon ($400, $300, $200), half marathon ($300, $200, $100), and 5K ($200, $150, $100). Full marathon participants must be age 18 or older.

This year’s marathon and half-marathon routes will differ from last year, heading north under the stars along the western lagoon, then returning south through lush, shaded roads back to Songsong. The 5K, known for its sunrise views, remains along Sasanhaya Bay.

Rota is a short flight from Saipan or Guam, with service by STAR Marianas and Micronesian Air Connection Services.
