SHIRLEY’S, MP United Pink, Matansa, Paire and Latte defeated their respective opponents in the Dove Women’s League at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville on Sunday.
Shirley’s vs MPU Blue
Melody Johnson scored a hat trick while Bernadette Horey delivered two goals as Shirley’s Football Club trounced MP United Blue, 9-0, in a Division A match.
Marielle Lopez and Mikayla Lopez chipped in one goal each for Shirley’s. Also seeing action were Dianne Pable, Mae Angelie Ito, Marielle Gariguez, Jeralyn Castillo, Stephanie Lumbad, Toremy Baek, Angelika Narvaez and Stacy Arriola.
MPU Pink vs Paire FC
In another Division A game, MP United Pink silenced Paire FC, 2-0, with Pia Helene Ngewakl and Rachel Salalila each scoring a goal.
Also playing for MPU Pink were Christina Atalig, Jhaneeka Atalig, Amy Cabrera, Lizann Marie Deleon Guerrero, Jenisha Dubrall, Megan Mae Elayda, Doemiko Flores, Breanna Lee, Michelle Masga, Soledad Quann, Hannah Robertson and Moriah Sablan.
MPU Blue vs Matansa FC 2
In Division B, Matansa FC 2 blanked MP United Blue, 2-0, with Phoebe Nekaifes and Bridget Basa scoring a goal each.
Joining them in the game were teammates Melissa Borja, Soledad Diaz, Sandy Leon Guerrero, Natasha Palacios, Patcharaporn Sonwo, Alyssa Villegas and Tawny Barcinas.
Matansa FC 1 vs MPU Pink
In another Division B game, Matansa FC 1 held MP United Pink to a scoreless draw. Seeing action were Jazmin Camacho, Karen Cornelio, Rellani Ogumoro, Amalia Pangelinan, Tiana Ranjo, Angelina Philips, Samantha Pua and Joy Kimiko Tenorio.
For the MP United Pink, the players were Kiara Borja, Pennalyn Camacho, Janet Coldeen, Lorenza Ann Duenas, Britney Gopez, Chunxia Hinson, Riza Lim, Nina Macaranas, Jessline Seman and Gretchen Smith.
Paire FC vs Latte FC
Camayan Sablan unleashed four goals while Joana Ridge contributed one goal as Paire FC edged Latte FC, 5-4, in a Division B game.
Jennifer Younis scored a hat trick to lead Latte FC with teammate Milagros King delivering a goal in the first half.
Shirley’s FC vs Kanoa FC
Shirley’s FC secured a victory after Kanoa FC forfeited the match.
