HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — The Guam Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance with finding a suspect in a Maite gas station carjacking last month.
GPD has identified Lasy Hauk, 27, also known as Kang Pang, as a person of interest in an investigation into a carjacking at the Maite Mobil gas station on March 5.
According to Post files, the victim, a 76-year-old man, was putting air into his tires when the suspect entered the victim’s 2022 silver Toyota Tacoma and took off.
In a wanted flier issued by GPD on Monday, investigators added that the victim “was dragged by the vehicle as it fled” the area.
Hauk is described as being about 5’3 to 5’6 in height, weighing about 165 to 180 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He also has “LOVE” tattooed on his left fingers, the flier stated.
Hauk was last seen at the Maite Mobil gas station but is known to frequent the Ironwood area in Maite, Robat Street and the surrounding area of Mongmong, and the Route 16 area by the Winster 2 Game Room, according to GPD.
The flier also states that a warrant of arrest was issued for Hauk in November 2023 for a 2017 felony case.
If you see Hauk, GPD asks you do not approach but call the Property Crimes Unit detectives via GPD dispatch at 671-475-8615~7.
