THE Department of Public Works has paved the way for the construction of the $888,299.35 Garapan tourist district revitalization pathway extension project.
Public Works Secretary Juan S. Reyes issued on April 11 the notice to proceed for the project’s construction.
Construction & Material Supply, Inc. is the contractor for the project.
In a letter to CMS project administrator Eduardo C. Caranzo, Reyes said the completion time—as established within the six-page contract—is 180 calendar days.
“(This) will place the completion date on Oct. 14, 2002,” Reyes told Caranzo.
In an interview, Caranzo said the project involves a 1.8-mile pathway.
