Keep Up the Great Work for the People Senator Paul Manglona as you are on the RIGHT TRACK trying to place some REAL accountability (checks & balances) on our Leaders regarding the 37 million OWED to the People. GOVERNOR — WHERE IS OUR 37 MILLION and we WANT IT NOW! It also the hope of many citizens that even though the Marianas Resort is not on Rota that Senator Manglona will PLEASE let it be known in the Legislature that IPI should GIVE US BACK the Marianas Resort — NOW!! I’m asking you for help on the Mariana Resort because it seems you are the only one Listening and fighting for what the PEOPLE truly want done — get OUR MONEY!
I am still wondering WHERE are the NMDs on the 37 million and the Mariana Resort as these are TWO issues that they should be all over like white-on-rice! WHY aren’t the NMDs saying and doing something about these issues is my question for my wife and children who are NMDs??? NMDs would be considered a “Watch-dog Group” in mainland Politics with the purpose of promoting and protecting certain rights, monuments and even ideals. But the NMDs are not doing much watching and they are not barking nor biting while THER government completely abuses the money and proper of NMDs.
All NMDs need Proficiency & Efficiency from those who claim to be the leaders of the NMDs which brings to mind that no NMD Group still haven’t ESTABLISHED themselves as the “authority to speak for ALL NMDs” making it look like a snake with several bodies connected together but there is NO head. Presently only the Governor can speak for ALL NMDs but he is a Political Leader — when will it sink in that there is a genuine need for a “SOCIAL/CULTURAL Leader” which is basic Sociology. Maybe the NMDs may want to consider asking Senator Manglona to be their leader so they can fight for the Legislation they need to attain real legitimacy as the “Supreme Care-takers of the Local Cultures & their Money.”
Robin Sapong REPRESENTS CNMI in Grand Style
KUDOS to NMI’s Robin Sapong the new Oceania Athletics president which was a headline that I was truly glad to see as I have known and worked with Mr. Sapong since my girls were in high school. He has always been dedicated to helping our youth and people like him are very special as they help to shape and mold successful youth beyond the classroom. Athletic competitions teaches a lot of lessons that will help our youth to overcome the challenges of the real world — such things as being dedicated to your goals, doing the work to achieve your goals, being willing to sacrifice to achieve your goals, the belief that you can improve on everything you do with the never give up attitude and most of all is the many lessons that are learned as winning is not everything but how well you played or participated.
When our own NORTHERN Marianas Athletics General Secretary Robin Sapong was elected as the new area president of the Oceania Athletics Association on Monday at the OAA headquarters in Gold Coast, Australia he made the entire CNMI very PROUD of him to be over such an important organization for our Region. It is clear Mr. Sapong is most deserving as he has been an OAA council member since 2008. This year, he received a veteran’s pin from the International Association of Athletics Federation for his “exemplary service to the cause of world athletics.” WE the People are truly proud of you Robin and KEEP UP the GOOD WORK!
Nancy Pelosi my SHERO!
I couldn’t help but to think about my late friend Senator Crisostimo who loved Nancy Pelosi when he was a Democrat and went “Oh my God” about her when he became a Republican. He would be laughing at himself now, as I think it is important to keep the memories of some of our GREATER leaders alive and well. But what really got me was the intellect of Speaker Pelosi who said, WE (the U.S. Congress) will just WAIT to see what the Senate rules are BEFORE we send the Impeachment to the Senate for a Trial. Common sense should tell all Americans that it is not fair or right to turn the Impeachment over to Senator Mitch McConnel who has literally sworn to be aligned with #45 who is on trial. This is the SAME Senator who stonewalled and delayed President Obama from appointing a Supreme Court Judge just so a possible Republican President could and it did happen with #45.
Number 45 is now steaming MAD that he has been impeached and the fact that Speaker Pelosi is SMART enough to give him a taste of his OWN medicine by REFUSING to send the Impeachment to Senate thus hanging the Impeachment over #45 heads until his CRONIES intend on a fair trial or just let the People decide in the voting booth. This was a political strategy that the GOP NEVER saw coming and they don’t have an answer to the Political Play that Speaker Pelosi ran — it was absolutely marvelous! The Speaker has truly preserved our Federal Democracy by doing her job and now she is making SURE the trial is fair either by the Senate or the People. This is not about partisan politics but the very safety and integrity of our nation and its common knowledge that #45 cares more about getting re-elected & courting Putin than America’s and our Allies’ safety and even children know he doesn’t have any integrity.
Like you might here people in my culture say about Speaker Pelosi, YOU GO GIRL as YOU ROCK! But Speaker Pelosi has one big advantage that is not bestowed on any of our Independents in the CNMI — Pelosi has real POWER! Politics is ALL about POWER and VOTES in the simplest of terms. One People One Direction.
