PICKLEBALL Federation of the NMI President Nelson Krum and wife Donna Krum donated a portable net to a newly formed pickleball group in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Donna said while they were in the Vietnamese capital to see their son, Neal Clark, and daughter-in-law, Stephanie, they met with the members of the pickleball group which was formed about two months ago.
“Great games were played! The Vietnamese players are good,” Donna said.
They played in an indoor badminton facility that had five courts placed closely together. The facility’s rubber surface was very different from what they are used to playing on, Donna said.
“Such a great game that brings all kinds of people together! This game could create world peace!” she added.
