Olivos beat Diamond Auto Care, 93-85

Olivos got their offensive strategy covered, sending out Ivan Devero and Edmark Mendoza to release some load points, damaging Diamond’s defensive line in the second half.

Devero made a total of 34 points in the hardcourt, doubling his effort in the second half of the match.

Devero fired 10 points in the third and fourth quarters, each, via quick-draw lay-ups.

The first half of play witnessed Olivos trying hard to scrounge for points.

Olivos ended up tied with Diamond at 20 points in the first quarter, and finished 36 points only in the second quarter as opposed to Diamond’s 53 points.

Despite, the 17-point lead by Diamond, Olivos were able to turn the table in their favor, boosting on their offense and tightening their defense around the painted area.

Diamond Auto Care’s Darwin Barbo, Junar Guiab, Elmer Esdrellon, Brendo Talania, and rest of the pack tried to close in on the wide deficit during the final period, but their effort failed to bring the team to victory.
