Palacios, Covenant-Saipan said it is good that residents come together and come up with creative ideas to enhance the island as a tourist destination.
He is calling all residents to help Jess Guerrero comply with the requirements of the Coastal Resource Management Office.
Palacios, who lived near the lake area for four years, said he visits it regularly.
The bridge made the area more enticing, he added.
He said instead of “making it hard” for Guerrero, CRMO should help him.
The Precinct 2 lawmaker at the same time encourages school principals to try to bringing their students to the area for an educational trip.
Guerrero, Palacios said, is a very creative person and his creativity can help improve the community.
Earlier this week, Guerrero built a tree house and installed swing in the area which he now calls the Spiritual Cultivation Lake.
Guerrero said the place is open to the public for free.
He is currently trying to raise $15,000 so he can apply for a major siting permit as required by CRMO which issued him a cease order.
