Folayang the reigning URCC welterweight champion has confirmed to fight in Gorilla’s come-back event that will be held at the Saipan World Resort’s Royal Taga Hall on March 28.
Aguilar on the other hand is expected to join Saipan’s emerging sports sensation as a special guest.
A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Aquilar who is now the URCC president is a three-time undefeated fighter of Sari-An annual sparing meet and is a 2003 “Filipino Martial Artist of the Year,” and Universal Martial Arts Hall of Famer.
He is a 1999 Silver Medalist, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Tournament in Detroit, Michigan.
Battle Ready is also featuring fights between CNMI’s Charleston Aiken and U.S.’ Mike Davis and CNMI’s Kelvin “The Big Hit” Fitial and U.S.’ Kyle York.
