With the results, The Rotary Club takes this opportunity to thank not only the CAT Team and the participants of the run/walk, but especially to the following individuals and companies that donated anywhere from $25.00 to $100.00 as well as in-kind donations to sponsor a 5K/10K walk/run for over 100 participants on the morning on March 21, 2009: Bank of Hawaii, The Taj, Palau Shop, WCTC, Midcorp, Hawaiian Belau Rock, DFS, Sam’s Tours, Roll’Em Productions, Best Coffee and Donut House, Rock Island Café, Akiwo’s Store, Yo-Jiro Automotive, Dragon Tei, Kramer’s Restaurant, and Neco Plaza. A total of $1,000.00 was raised to purchase the parts and equipment to renovate the park equipment, fabulous prizes were awarded to top finishers, and the CAT Team 09-05 donated labor to repair or renovate the playground equipment.
