Camp Katuu turned over to new Navy team

Air Force Team Officer –in-charge- Capt. Christopher Bulson handed over the command to LtJG Russel Dotson of Navy Team 01-25.

President Johnson Toribiong  in his remarks  thanked the outgoing Air Force team for its contribution of friendship and commitment to the country through infrastructure projects.Bulson for his part thanked Palau for the support it gave to his team composed of 13 men.He also lauded his team for the “hardwork, dedication and professionalism.”“It’s been an honor and a pleasure,” Bulson said.Dotson for said his team are ready to work.The Air Force team completed its AIR   seven-month deployment on Palau, June 19.The 13-man team will head back to their respective homeports.The team completed several projects and considers the construction of the Airai Community Health as its biggest construction project.The center is 1,450 square feet edifice and features a reception area, two examination rooms, a laboratory, a pharmacy, an office, and a restroom.   The health center took five and ½ months in construction.Bulson said the project was constructed to the ground up and begun the construction since the team begun their deployment here in November. Another important project the team completed was the recycling centers built in Koror docks.The team has also shipped the construction materials to Angaur which will be used to build restrooms, the project will be undertaken by the Navy team.The team’s medical civic action program meanwhile was taken to the 15 states of Palau.The Navy team will also be staying in Palau for seven months.
