Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon thanked the public for the information that they provided to the police that help arrest the suspects and help recover the stolen items.
Aguon urge anyone to continue calling the police for any information especially now that more properties have reportedly been stolen and damaged.“We have increased our concentration on reports of malicious mischief or damaging of property and thefts. We have no tolerance at this point because it’s on the rise and full extent of the law will be imposed to those violators who will be caught,”Aguon said.Meanwhile a woman called police on Monday night and reported that someone broke into their residence in Airai and stole clothes, shoes and assorted toys.A man came to the police station on Wednesday afternoon and reported that someone broke into his storage shack and stole his bush cutter, air compressor and tarp.The value of the stolen items is almost $2,000.Several malicious mischief incidents were also reported to the police on Monday.The window at the cafeteria of George B. Harris Elementary School was broken.A man reported that he discovered that two windows of his vehicle parked in front of his residence in Airai have been shattered.A woman also reported that she found a crack at the windshield of her vehicle which was parked in front of a restaurant in Dngeronger.A man reported that the windows of his vehicle parked in front of his residence in Meketii were also shattered.
