The victim was still under observation in the intensive care unit of the Belau National Hospital.
Police said they had requested for an initial medical report from the hospital to determine the victim’s extent of injuries.No arrest had been made, but the juvenile suspect had been identified by police.The incident happened at the back of Palau High School’s science building.The victim and the suspect are students of Palau High School.Police were still investigating the incident and the motive of the attack, but this reporter was told that the incident stemmed from an old grudge between the victim and the suspect.The victim had earlier assaulted the suspect with a stone and the suspect vowed to get back at him, sources said.
