Owner Scott Dottino started Godfather’s Bar & Grill almost two decades ago. He was a former chef in one of the prepositioning ships on the coasts of Saipan.
Together with business partner David Hood, Dottino is grateful for the trust and support his business receives from the community despite the tough economic time the island is currently facing.
“Godfather’s Bar & Grill would like to say thank you to the community. We are just so honored to be considered one of the best on the island. Thank you,” he said.
Dottino and Hood said their bar has always been the “hometown bar” on the island where anybody can go after a long day at work.
“Our staff receives our customers with their warmest greetings and we make sure that we provide them the best service that we can,” he said.
When asked about what the community can expect from them, Dottino assured to continue giving the community a good time and quality service.
Godfather’s also offers eight draft beers to choose from, on top of their delectable selection of cocktail drinks. “I don’t think there’s anyone else who has that many draft beers,” he added.
What’s on the menu
To keep up with the changing market post pandemic, Godfather’s Bar & Grill started offering lunch in February with mouthwatering dishes straight from the bar’s menu.
The lunch menu, at only $12.95, consists of savory sandwiches that are not available anywhere else on the island.
It includes a slider burger, grilled footlong hotdog, panini with ham or turkey and your choice of provolone, Swiss, or American cheese, BLT sandwiches, Philly cheesesteak with peppers and onions, and quesadillas to name a few. Orders come with a cup of Marianas Coffee or iced tea, and a side of either fries or salad.
Fresh green salads are also available, topped with your choice of grilled chicken or tuna.
Dottino bakes fresh bread every morning for their variety of sandwiches. Their pizza is also a crowd favorite.
A delivery service for a small fee of $1.50 will also be available soon for those who want their food delivered straight to their doors anywhere around Garapan, Navy Hill, and Capitol Hill.
Godfather’s Bar & Grill is located along Palm Street in Garapan. Their lunch is available Monday through Friday, while happy hour begins 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. everyday.
