A letter to me from his loving mother follows:
“Over the past four and a half years I have lost contact with my son, Gregory J. Ferris, nicknamed ‘Father Ferris.’ His last known location was somewhere in the Mariana islands, Guam, Saipan, the Philippines.
“Greg is a merchant seaman, 6’2″ tall, 180 lbs., 42 years of age. He has auburn hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.
“Reggae is his music of choice. He likes to cook and has a great sense of humor.
“I miss him terribly.”
