On February 7, a car was found abandoned atNgesaol, Koror.The red Toyota Scarlet withplate number 0378 incurred damages to its left fender and headlight.
Police investigation showed that the vehicle was speeding when the driver lost control and collided with the coconut tree near the Hawaiian Rock Quarry.
The driver fled immediately when the police responded.
On the same day, another car crash was reported at the intersection of Furusato Restaurant.
The two vehicles involved were Silver Honda sedan and White Toyota Corolla sedan.
Responding officers failed to find the drivers of the two vehicles after they fledthe scene.
The Honda car has a damage in its right front fender anddriver’s door windshield. While the Toyota car broke its rear bumper and front left fender.
Meanwhile, a man was arrested for overtaking several vehicles at Topside.
The driver was identified as Marlon Akitaya.
