Hottest camp of the summer knows a great way to stay cool

The camp is scheduled to run July 27th-30th and will kick off at Long Island in Malakal.  Participants will compete in basic athletic drills and learn fundamentals of a variety of sports such as baseball, gymnastics, soccer and swimming.

On the 27th and 28th we’ll be at Long Island Park. Registration is 8:00 am -9:00 am and parents will pick up children at 1:00 pm. On, Wednesday, the 29th, we will meet at the Meyuns Pool for swimming drills and free swim from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. On the same day the youth are invited to stay at the Meyuns Youth Center (Girls) and the SOPP Youth Center (Boys) for an overnight to enjoy fun activities and movies. On Thursday, the 30th, we will participate in one more day of swimming drills and free swim. The camp will end on Thursday, the 30th at 1:00 pm, pick up  youth at Meyuns Youth center.Peer Leaders who graduated from the After 3:00 program will be delivering a healthful message regarding the affects of alcohol and drugs along with group discussions and activities.This camp would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the hard work of good people in SPIF-SIG/COSAP and Rotary Club of Palau who are the Primary Sponsors of this year’s camp.
