According to the Ministry of Health there is a continued rise in the (ILI) and in the past week covering July 24 to 29 there have been 160 cases.
The Health Ministry has opened an alternative care located at the old Olbiil Era Kelulau building in Koror.The site is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Mondays to Friday.The site is to to prevent the illness from spreading. The community is once again reminded to ; wash your hands regularly with soap and water; use hand sanitizers or rubbing alcohol if soap and water are not available, cover coughs and sneezes with tissue and dispose of it properly; or, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve to prevent germs from spreading, avoid close contact with sick people and if you are sick with the flu, contact the 24-Hour Hotline (488-0555) for instructions. And remember to take precaution so you won’t spread it to other people.
