“We have assorted vegetables and fruits again, including lettuce, grapefruit, and cooking banana,” he added.
He said the recent tropical storms that brought heavy rainfall flooded some farms and destroyed vegetables.
But Pangelinan said the market continues to get supplies of sweet potato and taro from Rota.
“Aside from our regular suppliers, we also have a new farmer who has started supplying us with his harvest,” he added.
He said the market continues to deliver assorted vegetables to its clients, which include the Commonwealth Health Center, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Joeten Dandan, Joeten Superstore, and Green Consume on Middle Road.
The public market is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day except on Saturday when it is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
