Car slams into Dandan residence

Marietta Quimson said she was one foot away when the vehicle hit their fence and the room of Gilbert Calalay who rushed out of it before the impact which caused its cement wall to collapse.

The car had three male occupants.

It could not be determined if they sustained injuries.

Prior to the incident, Quimson said she was outside the house to pick papaya fruits at about 5 p.m.

Her children were inside.

She said she was about to step on a ladder when she heard a sound  from behind her.

She fell from the ladder and saw that a portion of a damaged fence was on top of her.

“The car plowed the trees on the adjacent lot before hitting the house,” she said.

Quimson sustained bruises on her left arm and hand.

Other details of the incident were not available as of press time last night.
