CNMI Military and Veterans Affairs Office Executive Director Ruth Coleman said over 50 participants and recipients who attended the briefing received information on the available Tricare coverage and where they can receive the care here in the CNMI.

She said Tricare is the health insurance for military retirees, Reservists, National Guard members, active duty personnel and their dependents.

“The most asked question is about eligibility and where can they file their claims, if any,” Coleman said.

Recipients and other participants also asked got information about medical providers that are on island that they can go to when they need medical services.

Alysha Pacheco, Tricare regional operations customer service branch representative, and Thomas Halliwell, Tricare regional remote operations division representative conducted the briefing.

Last week, Pacheco and Halliwell also visited medical providers and conducted briefings on what are expected from them.
