There were five graduates conferred with the bachelor of science degree in secondary education: Jing “Jasmine” Chen, Hanna Hyesha De Leon, Mark Christopher Miral, Christa Myriam Wei, and Yue Long “Angela” Yu.
The Leadership Award went to Mark, who has been the student body president for two consecutive years, while the Academic Award was given to Christa, who got the highest GPA among the student body.
Jasmine is planning to study music in the future while Hanna plans to take another bachelor’s degree or pursue her master’s degree.
Mark has been attending seminars and related training sessions in preparation for his entry to the U.S. Marines.
Angela is pondering on taking a master’s degree next year while Christa has been admitted to Pensacola Christian College where she will take her master of science in educational administration degree.
The guest speakers were Commerce Secretary Michael Ada and Saipan Mayor Donald Flores.
Dr. Christian Wei, the college president, informed the public of the future plan of Eucon to offer more graduate degrees.
