The conference theme is “Harmonizing Gender Roles to Make a Difference.”
President Manny Mori said the upcoming conference encourages citizens to “move forward in our socio-economic development as a nation supporting gender development.”
The conference is opened to all genders for participation.
Mori also said requested the nominations of seven Yap women participants who will be funded by the FSM National Department of Health and Social Affairs.
Yap Gov. Sebastian Anefal has shared Mori’s communication with all branches of the state government and has designated the Yap Department of Youth and Civic Affairs to coordination state participation.
