From $4.85 a gallon, the price of regular gas went down to $4.75, while premium is back to $5.07 and diesel is now $5.21.
Shell gas attendants Albert Duenas and Don Aguon said they are relieved to see a reduction in gas prices.
They’re still high but it’s good that the prices went down for a change, they added.
They hope the prices would continue to go down further.
Christopher Richard Neltner, a Commonwealth Utilities Corp., inspector, said he can now save some of his gas money.
He wants to see the prices go down to what they were a couple of years ago — when they were a little over $3.
He also hopes that the 10-cent roll back will continue and result in a reduction of CUC’s power rates.
