The 28-year-old victim, who is a mother of a seven-year-old boy, recounted to jurors that defendant Michael Blodak, 52, would tell her “I want to sleep with you” before raping her.
She told Assistant Attorney General Brian Gallagher, the prosecutor, that she was “scared,” and that was why her uncle succeeded in raping her.
During cross examination by Chief Public Defender Adam Hardwicke, Blodak’s attorney, the victim said she and her uncle were not in a relationship.
Hardwicke said Blodak, his wife and the victim went into an ATM booth near the airport.
After the wife alighted from the vehicle to get money from the ATM, Hardwicke said Blodak told the victim while they were inside the vehicle that “this has to stop,” and that the victim agreed.
It was not clarified if Blodak was referring to an ongoing “relationship” as claimed by the defense.
The jury trial continues today.
