“We support the NMC Foundation’s continuous efforts to help enhance the services and programs the College offers to its students,” said IT&E executive vice president Larry Knecht.
The donation was presented in support of the recently held 8th Annual NMC Foundation Golf Open, which is organized by the NMC Foundation.
The tournament, the organization’s signature event, aimed to raise critical funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.
“The partnership we have with IT&E will continue to play a tremendous role in the Foundation’s mission to support NMC’s efforts in providing quality education,” said NMC Foundation president Ben Babauta.
The NMC Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to raise funds to support Northern Marianas College, the CNMI’s lone post-secondary educational institution.
The organization is composed of individuals who are dedicated and committed to ensuring that CNMI students receive the utmost support in pursuing their educational goals.
The golf tournament was held on April 24, at the Saipan Laolao Bay Golf & Resort in Kagman. Close to 150 golfers met on the links and competed for over $100,000 in prizes.
