The K4 and K5 program is designed for working parents who can rely on Ladera International School of Saipan during this summer break with the school’s two-pronged program: a half day and/or full day preparatory educational programs that will begin on June 7 and will run until Aug. 15, 2010.
Ladera’s kindergarten program begins with the K4 program and continues through the advanced kindergarten 5 program. The school initiates a hands-on teaching approach that enables students to success in classroom as each program begins with foundational programs and materials.
At Ladera, each class uses instructional and activity session that include teaching letter, colors, numbers, shapes and even printing. In addition, each class makes time for daily playtime and nap time. Both K4 and K5 programs teach phonics as the foundational technique to reading and will include lessons on history and science throughout the summer.
At the same time, responding to the economic condition, Ladera school announces reduced rates/fees for the new school year. Enrollment has already started.
The new rates are as follows: registration fee, $200 for new enrollees, application $45 for new enrollees, tuition $195 for K4 and K5, $220 for Grade 1 to 8, and materials fee at $200 for K4 and 5 and $275 for Grades 1 and 8.
These new reduced materials fee will cover for one year.
There are, however, promotional offers that Ladera school has pioneered on the islands such as the 2 for 1 Program, SCC Discount, and Familia Plan which will still continue until the new school year.
The school, home to some 120 local and foreign students, is the first in the commonwealth to open an educational tourism program which is designed to educate, immerse and expose foreign students in the local culture and tourism-related program. Ladera has brought hundreds of foreign students on Saipan as part of the program to reintroduce and protect the islands’ natural wonders as well do its part in revitalizing the islands tourism industry as a whole.
