Limited edition souvenir t-shirts available at Flame Tree Arts Festival

Overall festival committee chairman Parker Y. Yobei said the t-shirts were donated by the Division of Youth Services.

“DYS donated 250 white shirts with the Flame Tree and DYS logos printed on them. The committee and Arts Council board members will be seen wearing these shirts during the festival to easily identify them in the crowd,” Yobei said.

Arts Council Executive Director Angel S. Hocog thanked DYS under its new director Laura T. Ogumoro for the  donation.

“Our off-island delegates will also be given these shirts to wear,” Hocog said.

The committee will also sell souvenir t-shirts in different sizes. Small to large size shirts will be available for $12 each while extra large and double XL shirts will be sold for $13 each.

The Arts Council is also urging the community to buy raffle tickets that will be sold for $1 each during the event. At stake are attractive prizes such as airplane tickets to the U.S. mainland, IT&E phones and others.

Hocog said proceeds from the shirt and raffle ticket sales can help raise funds to cover some of the costs to be incurred for the festival.

The theme of the 30th Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival is  “Celebrating 30 years of Uniting Cultures and Traditions, (Trenta Anus na Dinanna’ Kuttura yan Tradisionat, Eliigh Raagh Schulapal Kko me Yeereli).
