He did not identify who these investors are.
Acrobats and different rides will be offered by Olimp USA Inc. when the test run for the mini-carnival starts on Dec. 24, he added.
“Everything is in order,” Shakir told the Variety when asked about the legal requirements for the test operations.
“This is good for the CNMI, especially for the children because right now there is nowhere to go for entertainment,” Shakir said.
A container van loaded with carnival rides is expected to arrive within the week, he added.
If the six-month trial operation yields positive results, Shakir said the investors will construct an indoor amusement park on private or public land.
