“I feel that I am a good candidate because of my past experiences,” she stated.
She wants to accomplish more things to better serve NMC students.
She said her goals are: promote more student activities and get students involved in these events; promote cultural diversity and encourage more international students to take part in student activities; promote student clubs and make the Interclub Council active.
Rodriguez is the only candidate for president.
She is encouraging her fellow students to exercise their right of suffrage by voting in the election on Wednesday.
Daniel Takeshi Kintol II, a liberal arts and criminal justice student; Glenn Samuel Merjilla Songanan, a business major; and Ki Young Kim, a nursing and natural resource management major, are the candidates for vice president.
Stacey Lou Demapan, nursing student and liberal arts, and criminal justice major Min Seon “Mindy” Park are the candidates for secretary/treasurer.
