The special guest on this night is Lora Kermode from California, who will be giving tips to everyone who attends on how to help your middle school children with math, most particularly with Pre-Algebra and Algebra.
The first 50 students whose parents arrive at the Parent Literacy Night will receive a free COJHS shirt in November.
“We are asking that you take this opportunity to meet and learn from her. She will also be demonstrating some Math methods to your children in the classroom during their Math periods on Thursday (7th grade students) and Friday (8th grade students),” the school said.
“What you learn on this night will surely supplement what your child will learn on Thursday and Friday. We humbly ask that you please send this form back with your child that we may expect you on this important night.”
