KOROR (Palau Horizon) — Philippine nationals in Palau will celebrate their nation’s 104th Independence Day with two separate festivities.
The Philippine Embassy will host a luncheon for foreign dignitaries on June 12 at Palau Pacific Resort.
The Filipino Community in Palau held a cocktail party for Philippine nationals on June 9 at Palasia Hotel.
The group also invited local guests to grace the festivities.
TFCP Vice President Lourdes Funa said the celebration was highlighted by the coronation of Miss Independence and Little Mr. and Miss Independence.
