Theft at Coral Ocean Point

On Monday, Oct. 10, at about 1:30 p.m., the victim, a local female age 51 was with her daughter playing golf at hole #14.

The victim heard a noise and turned to see the suspect, described as a local male wearing a brown shirt, running with their purses which were left on the golf cart.

The victims pursued the suspect on a golf cart toward hole #13. The suspect scaled a chain link fence and escaped on a red three-wheeled motor scooter.

Witnesses and employees saw two suspects fleeing the parking area on two three-wheeled motor scooters. The victim’s purses were recovered in the bushes near the crime scene. Over $700 cash was stolen.
