On Friday, Aug. 30, 2011, at about 2 p.m., the victim, a Korean tourist age 31, was with another Korean male, age 38. They parked a 2004 Silver Nissan Titan pickup truck by the bunker located across the street from Century Travel and went diving. About an hour later they returned to discover the victim’s personal items missing from inside the car.
The stolen items included a Sky cellular phone valued at $900, a black Casio watch valued at $160, and about $100 in cash. There were no signs of forced entry. It is possible that the suspect used a key which was hidden in the car’s gas tank.
