Since its inception, TOC has given over $500,000 to the Saipan Beautification Fund which has most recently been used to improve the tree-lined traffic medians in Chalan Piao, Dandan and Susupe. Funds were also used for the revitalization of the Garapan tourist district.
TOC also contributed funds for the Paseo de Marianas, and the beautification of the Port to Park pathway. It was recently announced that proceeds from this year’s TOC will assist in the repair of the Mt. Topochau stairways, railings and the leveling of the area.
“Triple J Motors and their group of companies have shown their dedication to TOC and we are grateful for their participation and support for so many years. Our golfers are looking forward to the chance to try for the Mazda 3 hole-in-one prize,” said Ben Babauta, TOC tournament director.
The 16th Annual Tournament of Champions will take place at Laolao Bay Golf and Resort on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 6 and 7. Show time is 6 a.m. and shotgun start is 7 a.m. Registration fee is $175 for two days of golf and the banquet immediately following the tournament.
