Youth Dance clinic coordinator Sharmaine Casquero said the first batch of students who attended the classes from Aug. 16 to Sept. 3, will perform hip-hop and street dancing along with other entertainment numbers from other local performers.
Casquero said the initial classes have been successful, and they are planning to accept more students for the Youth Dance Clinic next month. They have yet to set the date for these classes.
Casquero and the Pacific Wellness Clinic initiated the Youth Dance Clinic to encourage children to get into physical activities.
Casquero said on Oct. 30, they will showcase the “Thriller” Halloween event at the Hard Rock Café to pay tribute to the King of Pop Michael Jackson. The entrance fee is $5 inclusive of one drink. The show will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Prizes will be given to those wearing the best costumes.
