The drunk driver was identified as Cirilio Menor.
He was arrested for DUI and reckless driving.Initial investigation disclosed that a car crash at the KB Bridge Airai side was reported to the police on August 16 at 8:35 pm.Menor’s car was travelling from East bound when it collided into another vehicle.The other car was at the center lane and was waiting for the road to clear when hit by Menor’s car.The driver of the other car complained of body pains while a minor child who was a passenger of that vehicle was rushed to the hospital for check up for possible injuries.Meanwhile six other persons were also arrested over the weekend for drunk disorderly conducts, disturbing the peace, assault and battery and illegal consumption of alcohol.Simerangos Emais, 21; Larson Siles; Flora Delmei, 48; Myver Umedip, 28; Jitiban Kaious, 19 and one unidentified man.Emais was arrested disturbing an establishment in Idid on Friday morning while Siles and the still unidentified man were both arrested for drunk and disorderly conducts for fighting in front of the police station Friday morning.Delmei was arrested on Saturday night for disturbing a residence in Airai while Umedip was arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct and assault and battery and Kaious for minor consumption of alcohol and drunk and disorderly conduct at the PCC campus on Sunday.
